Tannery La Pine Oregon

We are a Commercail Tanneryin La Pine Oregon. Our tan is a wet/presure and wheel tan that will last the life time of the mount or rug. I'm sure most of you taxidermists have heard of or used the liquid tan before. Just the other day we had a life size brought into High Desert Tannery and it was purchased as a ready to be mounted. The gentlemen who purchased the life size thought it did not feel right, it was greasy and smelted funny so he brought to our tannery. Sure enough it had been liquid tanned. We have tanned it, here in our Commercial Tannery using wet/preasure and wheel tan and the greasy feel and stretch is there. There is a beautiful amount of stretch.
